tuart H. Sorkin is a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney. He received a BS degree with highest honors in Accounting and Finance from American University in 1978, a JD from University of Miami School of Law in 1981 and a Master of Law in Taxation Degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985.

Stuart's practice is primarily transactional in nature, ranging from taxation, asset protection, estate and personal financial planning, mergers, sales and acquisition of businesses and general business law. He advises clients regarding choice and formation of business entity, raising of capital and financing, federal and state income tax consequences of transactions, wealth transfer alternatives, retirement and estate planning and all the routine and extraordinary matters of general business law.

Stuart's background includes working for several national accounting firms and he has appeared as a lecturer at numerous courses on various aspects of personal financial planning and federal taxation.
